Yana Kennedy, NP

Yana joined the Western Nephrology team in 2017. She has been working with kidney disease patients for over 24 years and has been an AP for the last 14 years. Yana came to the U.S. from Ekaterinburg, Russia as a nurse and went back to school and earned a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Colorado University Health Science Center.

Yana’s approach to care is to be a great listener and a constant patient advocate. Yana has a great thirst for knowledge and takes an evidence based approach to her care. With her energetic attitude, her goal is to inspire patients to improve their overall health. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cross country skiing and hiking in the mountains.
