Ian Villanueva, NP

Ian Villanueva is originally from the Philippines where he completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. He then moved to the U.S. and worked as a Registered Nurse in cardiac telemetry and cardiovascular ICU, then as a charge nurse in outpatient hemodialysis for over 3 years at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Ian earned a DNP-FNP Degree from Bradley University in Illinois. Ian believes that understanding each patient starts with learning how they perceive their current health and medical conditions and how they think such affects them, their readiness to take action, and their confidence in their ability to do so. Ian enjoys historical documentaries, singing and playing his guitar, and trying different coffee blends.
