Emily Kaufman, NP

Emily joined the Western Nephrology team in 2020. Originally from Western Massachusetts and completed her undergraduate degree at The University of the Rhode Island. In 2008 she attended Simmons College in Boston where she earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing.  Her previous work experiences includes treating complex adult and pediatric patients with heart disease at Boston Children’s Hospital as well as managing patients with heart rhythm disturbances at Boston Medical Center.  She moved to Denver in 2019 with her husband and their dog Finn.  Emily decided to pursue a new specialty in Nephrology and joined the Western Nephrology team in 2020.  She is dedicated to establishing meaningful relationships with her patients and has an individualized approach to helping patients achieve the best care possible. In her free time, Emily enjoys running, hiking, traveling, gardening, reading and exploring the beautiful Colorado landscape with her family.
