WHAT DO I GET?
Starting pay ($18-19) is commensurate with knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.

WHAT WILL I DO?
This position acts as our reception role and first point of contact.
You’ll greet patients, answer phones, distribute the incoming (high volume) faxes, and complete data entry into the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) software.
The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask without getting flustered.
You must have SUPERIOR interpersonal skills, get along with others, and have a strong sense of compassion to provide support to our patients to make them feel welcome and ease their anxieties.
MUST HAVES

High school diploma or equivalent
IT’S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE THIS!
One year of related experience in a medical office.
Medical billing, scheduling, insurance experience
Basic computer knowledge with Outlook, Excel and Word.
Comfort and confidence with data entry into an EMR System.
Understanding the flow and operations of a medical office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
HIPAA knowledge and ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with high volume in stressful/busy environment.
OTHER STUFF!
Work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. (some flexibility with beginning/end times)

The practice is comprised of 14 board certified Nephrologists at 5 clinics treating patients for a variety of nephrological conditions including acute kidney injury, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and End Stage Renal Disease. In addition to their hospital work, its providers and staff care for patients at nephrology clinics, dialysis clinics and rehabilitation centers.
