Chief Financial Officer

Chermaine joins Western Nephrology with over 13 years experience in the healthcare industry. Chermaine previously worked as the Finance Director for Children’s Eye Physicians. She also has experience in the hospital environment, working as a Senior Financial Analyst at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Chermaine has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Health Systems Management from Regis University. Chermaine enjoys camping, hiking and mountain bike riding with her husband.

Debra Reynolds

Acute Team Director

Debra has been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, with experience in healthcare management and operations, disease management, and elder care programs. Prior to joining Western Nephrology’s acute team in 2013, Debra was the executive director for a Denver based hospice and palliative care program, and worked for a non-profit association administering healthcare focused grant programs for Denver’s indigent and homeless community.  Debra’s hobbies include knitting and reading.  Debra and her husband have a son who attends UNC and a daughter who plays D1 Women’s Ice Hockey for Union College in New York.

Michelle Price

Senior HR Manager

Michelle has about 20 years of experience working in Human Resources supporting  business operations in various industries including the legal field, natural gas, and industrial distribution.  She has worked with employee groups with as few as 30 employees up to global organizations with over 8,000 employees.  Michelle has an MBA from Florida Atlantic University as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and has been PHR certified for over 15 years.  Michelle and her husband have two young children who keep them busy, and in any spare time that is available she enjoys cooking and fitness.

Ashley Dunn

Clinic Operations Manager

Ashley has been in the medical field for 7 years and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. She’s taken several leadership courses including Coaching for Performance Improvement, Managers’ Role in Implementing Change, and Mitigating Unconscious Bias and Leadership Communication. Ashley’s previous work experience includes Practice Management for Primary Care and Urgent Care Clinics, Supervisor of Clinical Operations for sleep disorder clinics, durable medical equipment clinics, a dental sleep medicine clinic and a wellness clinic. Ashley also has medical office experience in scheduling, insurance, claims, project management and marketing.

Ashley’s management style is individualized; she prefers to reach each person in a way that best suits each individual’s personality. She believes in collaborative leadership, promoting employee engagement, and empowering co-workers to share ideas and create a better quality of work for themselves and ultimately provide superior service to patients. Ashley feels that trust is built in an atmosphere where communication is candid, setbacks are reviewed for learning purposes, and successes are shared and celebrated. Along the same ideals, she believes in developing and coaching people in a way that is aligned with organizational goals, creates an inclusive work/life balance and lowers employee turn-over.

Jill Hoomes

Access Center Manager

Jill Hoomes
Jill has joined Western Nephrology with 18 years experience in the nursing profession. She has worked in various areas of patient care including intensive care, prep and recovery for cardiovascular and surgery patients. Jill most recently was employed by St. Anthony’s in Lakewood, and prior to that, she worked for several different hospitals including the University of Colorado Hospital, El Camino Hospital in California, Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland, and Tufts New England Medical Center in Massachusetts to name a few.

In addition, she brings her experience as an interventional radiology nurse. Jill has been in nursing leadership roles for seven years prior to joining Western Nephrology. Recently she graduated from Regis University with her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership. Upon graduation from Regis University, she was selected from the academic team to received the award for “Outstanding Achievement: Leadership in Nursing Management”. Jill enjoys living in Colorado with her family and experiencing all of the different activities our state has to offer.

Amy Martinez

Clinic Operations Manager

Amy Martinez has worked in the medical field for 22 years, working in Surgery and Anesthesia before finding her niche in Nephrology for the past 12 years. Amy has a Bachelor of Arts in Healthcare Administration from Ashford University and is working towards obtaining her MBA. She started out as a surgical technologist before transitioning to the administrative side of healthcare. Her forte is in all aspects of scheduling, she enjoys reporting as well as clinic operations.

Amy’s management style is one of transformational leadership. She likes to ensure she understands the employee on all levels through learning how each employee works, understanding their generational needs in work styles, and understanding how they learn, communicate and accept recognition. She believes in creating a vision to guide employees through inspirational and collaborative approaches. Amy feels the key to a successful partnership between leadership and employees is through trust, honesty and transparency. Her philosophy is that all moments are learning opportunities, and the utmost goal is to work in synergy to care for patients in a compassionate and comprehensive manner.

Amy is a Colorado Native and has always lived in the northern part of town from Broomfield to Brighton. She enjoys working and helping to provide care to the communities that she lives and works in. Amy is a die-hard Nebraska Husker Fan! She and her husband enjoy cheering on their football teams, traveling and finding new breakfast locations. They have 3 grown sons and 1 grandson, and a spoiled dog.

Stephanie Mackintosh

Billing Manager

Stephanie has been in the medical field for 13 years including 4 years with Western Nephrology. She is an experienced biller from her employment in the Radiology and Anesthesia specialties as well as Nephrology.

Stephanie was born and raised in Denver, Colorado and graduated from Cambridge College with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Assisting.  Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, soaking in our amazing mountains, and watching football and NASCAR.
